Spending his childhood competing in sports and being very fit and active, Ash decided to take his health and wellbeing seriously after a number of years performing in bands led to a poor diet, unhealthy lifestyle, mental health issues and no structured exercise in his early twenties.
After three years working in professional sport for Hull FC, he worked to become an exercise specialist after completing a number of advanced personal training, nutrition, life coaching qualifications and more recently a yoga teaching qualification.
Ash is a passionate teacher and loves to learn about psychology, human movement, mindfulness and philosophy.
Katie is trained with Amiyoga 200 hr teacher training and insured through Yoga alliance professionals, as well as a reining practitioner .
Her classes are creative playful flows yet still maintaining a focus on alignment and anatomy. Katie believes in building resilience and strength, both physically and mentally, she has a strong meditation practice along side strength building and tension relieving asanas. She has taught with Corner House, The Warren, Ella Street festival, Anytime Fitness and the Amiyoga Studio alongside one-to-one assessments and practice.
Katie believes our yoga practice should be focused around play, finding time for oneself and manifesting our physical, mental, spiritual potential. Namaste.
