Spending his childhood competing in sports and being very fit and active, Ash decided to take his health and wellbeing seriously after a number of years performing in bands led to a poor diet, unhealthy lifestyle, mental health issues and no structured exercise in his early twenties.
After three years working in professional sport for Hull FC, he worked to become an exercise specialist after completing a number of advanced personal training, nutrition, life coaching qualifications and more recently a yoga teaching qualification.
Ash is a passionate teacher and loves to learn about psychology, human movement, mindfulness and philosophy.

Yoga has been in my life for the past 5 years, when I first started Yoga I was practicing to build strength in my knees. The first time I stepped on a mat, I instantly fell in love. Yoga became a ritual that I had to do everyday, which led into a meditation journey; at first it was just Savasana at the end of every practice, however, the more I did it the more benefits I got, and now it’s the first thing I do when I open my eyes in the morning.
